Valley Mills Lions Club received its charter, with 53 members under the
sponsorship of the Waco Lions CLub.

November 15

Valley Mills Lions Club was organized.

December 8

Valley Mills Lions Club approves the formation of the Valley Mills Leo CLub

March 22 Organization Report and Membership List faxed to Lions Club International
                         officially applying for the certification of the Valley Mills Leo Club, with 20
                         originating members.
